Ceillac (1700 - 2450 m)

Ceillac is an authentic high-mountain village resort nestled between 1,640 and 2,450 meters in the heart of the Queyras massif. This picturesque village, located on a suspended plateau, boasts a preserved heritage and traditional architecture surrounded by majestic peaks such as the Font Sancte (3,385 m). The destination offers a wild setting and 360-degree panoramas of the surrounding ridges.

The alpine ski area covers 17 to 22 kilometers of runs, featuring a maximum vertical drop of 750 meters. It consists of 16 slopes (4 green, 2 blue, 9 red, and 1 black) suitable for all skill levels. Snow reliability is guaranteed from December to April thanks to the high altitude and 32% artificial snow coverage. The lift system includes 6 installations, notably a high-speed 6-seater chairlift in the Girardin sector and several drag lifts in the Melezet and Sainte-Anne areas.

The resort also features a premier Nordic offer with the Cristillan domain, which includes 48 kilometers of cross-country ski trails. Since 2023, Ceillac has been home to the first major biathlon stadium in the Southern Alps. Other activities include 40 kilometers of snowshoe trails, ice climbing, and ski touring routes. With its snow gardens, sledding areas, and friendly atmosphere, Ceillac is an ideal destination for a sporty family holiday away from the crowds.
