Located between 1,710 and 1,810 meters altitude in Cerdagne in the Pyrenees-Orientales, La Quillane is the smallest alpine ski resort in the French Pyrenees and one of the highest inhabited valleys in the massif. A quintessential family ski resort belonging to the Neiges Catalanes network, it positions itself between Font-Romeu and Les Angles, offering an intimate alternative to major mountain resorts. Despite its modest size, La Quillane charms visitors with its varied winter activity offerings combining traditional skiing, fun activities and innovations in alpine skiing and freestyle.

For alpine skiing, La Quillane offers 2 kilometers of slopes with 4 green runs for beginners and families, and 1 intermediate blue run, spread across 5 marked trails total served by 2 drag lifts and 1 rope tow providing gentle learning in a safe environment. The alpine area features 20 snow cannons allowing artificial snowmaking supplementing natural snowfall to guarantee a long season. This year, La Quillane reinforces its Banger Park dedicated to high-level sports and freestyle, transforming the resort into a leading French training center for competitive riders with an oversized airbag and safety jump modules.

In addition to traditional slopes, La Quillane offers a palette of innovative and fun activities appealing to visitors seeking sensations and winter discoveries. The children's snowmobile circuit allows young visitors to discover the joys of driving in complete safety, while the ice driving track offers budding drivers the unique experience of controlling a vehicle on frozen surface with a track approximately 800 meters long designed for diverse turns (hairpins, curves, chicanes). The snow helicopter offers spectacular panoramic flights overlooking Pyrenean landscapes, providing an incomparable aerial perspective of Cerdagne and surrounding peaks with two options: 10-minute discovery flight over Cambre d'Aze or hovering above Lac des Bouillouses starting at €80. The resort also features a snowpark for amateur riders, fun activities for children including trampoline and inflatables, night skiing every evening, a "Snake Gliss" winter sliding track, and a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere.

An atypical winter resort in the Pyrenees, La Quillane combines the intimacy of a mountain village, innovations in winter activities, and easy access to the Neiges Catalanes network (Font-Romeu, Les Angles, Porté-Puymorens) for complete and unforgettable family mountain vacations in the Pyrenean mountains, with equipment rental and ski lessons provided by the resort's ESF ski school.
