Perched at 1650 meters altitude on a mountain pass connecting the Beaufortain and Val d'Arly valleys, Les Saisies boasts a reputation that extends far beyond France: it is famously nicknamed the "Snow Loft of Savoie" (Le Grenier à Neige). Thanks to an exceptional microclimate, it benefits from abundant and lasting natural snow from December to late April, often surpassing resorts at much higher altitudes. Facing the most majestic view of Mont Blanc in the Alps (a constant "postcard" backdrop), Les Saisies has preserved its authentic village soul: here, you will find no concrete blocks, but a harmonious architecture of wood and stone chalets blending perfectly into nature.

Espace Diamant: A Ski Safari Facing Mont Blanc The local alpine area offers 77 km of slopes that are perfect for families: gentle, sunny runs winding through spruce trees and pristine alpine pastures. But Les Saisies is, above all, the premier gateway to the Espace Diamant. In the blink of an eye, you gain access to a massive 192 km ski area linking 6 village resorts (Hauteluce, Bisanne 1500, Crest-Voland, etc.). It is a paradise for "Journey Skiing": travel from one valley to another on your skis, with Mont Blanc as your constant companion. The ultra-modern lift network (featuring the Rosières gondola and high-speed chairlifts) ensures a perfectly smooth experience.

An Olympic Nordic Land Host site of the cross-country skiing and biathlon events during the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics, the Nordic area of Les Saisies is one of the highest and most beautiful in Europe. With 120 km of tracks located at 1700m altitude, snow is guaranteed. Visitors can practice skating or classic skiing on magnificent itineraries, enjoying the peace and quiet away from the crowds. The biathlon stadium even allows beginners to try their hand at shooting, following in the footsteps of French Olympic champions who train here.

Rail Toboggan and Cozy Après-Ski Les Saisies is also about off-slope fun. The star attraction, the Mountain Twister (a 4-season rail toboggan), offers thrills in complete safety.
