Perched at 2,300 meters altitude, Val Thorens reigns as Europe's highest resort and the pinnacle of the world's largest connected ski domain, the 3 Valleys, boasting 600 kilometers of slopes across 7 linked resorts. This alpine metropolis embodies perfect mountain skiing: record altitude, guaranteed snow from November through May, 360° panorama over 1,000+ alpine summits, and an atmosphere where the best of skiing merges with the finest cosmopolitan-alpine ambiance.

For alpine skiing, the Val Thorens-Orelle domain offers 150 kilometers of slopes spread across 87 runs of all levels: 11 accessible green runs, 39 intermediate blue runs, 29 challenging red runs and 8 expert black runs. Exceptional situation: 90% of domain above 2,000 meters altitude, guaranteeing unmatched snow quality, natural and stable, from November through May. Vertical drop of 1,430 meters (1,800m-3,230m) offers endless descents with spectacular panoramas. Mythical runs: "Jerusalem" (wide and long, ideal advanced skiers), "Combe de Caron" (black run from cable car 3,200m), "Pointe de la Masse" (south-facing, best morning conditions).

25 ultra-modern ski lifts ensure rapid access: 1 Cime Caron cable car (1982, world's largest at construction, new cabins 2025-26, reaches 3,200m in 4 minutes), 6 detachable cable cars (including Orelle-Caron 10-seater, Cairn, Caron, 2-Lakes with mountain kart activities), 14 chairlifts (8-seater modern Poma, 6-seater, 4-seater), and 4 drag lifts. 3 Valleys access: single pass unlocks 600 km and 334 runs across 200 connected lifts (Courchevel, Méribel, Brides-les-Bains, Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Les Menuires, Orelle).

The Snowpark offers 1 hectare of progression: modules for all levels, boardercross, children's fun zones, 4-season toboggan runs. 20 kilometers of snowshoe trails and hiking paths explore alpine crests, glacial lakes, with constant Mont-Blanc views.

Gastronomy & Luxury: Jean Sulpice (2 Michelin stars), 4 five-star hotels (Pashmina, Koh-I-Nor, Fitz Roy, Altapura), luxury guesthouse Datcha, Fahrenheit Seven 4-star (2025-26), mountain taverns & auberges.

Events: Trophée Andros, World Cup Skicross, Grande Première, legendary après-ski.

The Val Thorens spirit: "Live United." The resort merges sporting excellence, regal altitude, grandiose nature, extreme luxury, and cosmopolitan vibrance.
