The ski resorts Les Carroz d'Arâches belongs to the domain Le Grand Massif which also includes Flaine, Morillon, Samoëns and Sixt Fer à Cheval.

Just 10 minutes from Cluses TGV railway station, Les Carroz d'Arâches embodies the authentic mountain village resort in the heart of the Alps. Nestled at 1,140 meters between Lake Léman (40 km, Geneva) and Mont-Blanc (55 km, Chamonix), this family destination labeled Family Plus Mountain seduces through community spirit, stone chalets, no concrete nor anonymous crowds, and privileged access to the Grand Massif, the 5th largest ski domain in Europe (265 km, 5 connected resorts since 1982).

For alpine skiing, the local Carroz domain offers 38 kilometers of slopes spread across 32 runs: 4 accessible green runs, 16 intermediate blue runs, 8 challenging red runs and 4 expert black runs. Vertical drop of 1,360 meters (1,140m-2,500m, Grandes Platières Flaine) provides endless descents. Gron sector: hidden runs, excellent snow coverage, new refurbished chairlift 2025 (faster, quieter, smoother, opening Christmas 2025) after 6-year project. Mythical Montjoie run, freestyle boardercross zone.

19 modern ski lifts: 1 Kédeuze cable car (main village access), 6-7 modern chairlifts (Tête des Saix 2,150m, Gron refurbished, others), 8 drag lifts, magic carpets. Grand Massif access 1 lift: discover unlimited 265 km Flaine, Morillon, Samoëns, Sixt, 135 interconnected runs, 62 total lifts.

For cross-country skiing, Nordic domain offers 47 kilometers of groomed trails, 10 kilometers of skating slopes through spruce forests and magnificent alpine landscapes.
